BAD NEWSSS!

Hey guys
I just wanted to tell you that my laptop fell this weekend and broke. Therefore i probably wont be doing any "long post" until i get that fixed (hopefully soon). I will be trying to post little things for you guys like outfit of the days and stuff like that. Since I'm going to be posting from my Ipod please know that it will probably have many grammar and spelling errors, sorry.

I'm going to go out and buy stuff for the giveaway this week, please give me ideas on stuff you guys would want in the giveaway. If all goes as planned the giveaway will be next week. I'm sorry about this inconvenience for my followers and hopefully i can either fix or get a new computer soon. I love you all

Glammed Girls Night Out?

Hey guys!

Ok so last night I was laying in bed thinking and BAAAAM and idea just hit me, Glammed Girls Night Out!  Yes this is just an idea but I wanted to run in by you guys to see if you were actually interested in it. If you are interested I can start planning it. Basically it would be an event for the women in the area (if you want to travel and addend it, even better) to come out to and have fun with other girls. If all goes as planned I would like it to consist of, make overs, a run way show featuring local boutiques and some shopping. I want it to be a fun event that we can all attend to get our glam on. I would of course be there to help you guy’s style items you buy and stuff like that.  Please comment below or email me if you guys would be interested in an event like this and stuff you would like to do at it. That way I can start planning it for you guys. If no one comments or emails me about it, I won’t be planning it just because I don’t want to invest my money into something people wouldn’t want to go to.

Sorry that I haven’t been on here since last Thursday. I have been super busy with work and family for the past couple of days, but the good news is that I am now back in action for you guys. So for a while now I have been contemplating about doing a post on how I choose my jeans and where I get them. The only thing stopping me was the fact that I mostly get my jeans at only one store and I wanted to be able to give you guy’s options. Then I thought about it and decided to just going to go for it a great pair of jeans is better than no pair at all.  When it comes to jeans this is how I feel about pricing; I rather pay a good amount of money for a pair of jeans that fit and look great on me than get four pairs that are cheap but don’t fit me the way I would like them too. That being said when it comes to jeans I usually pay anywhere from sixty dollars to one hundred twenty dollars. Yes, I know that may sound a little pricey but keep in mind my jeans last me anywhere from two to four years and fit me wonderfully.

Where I shop and Why?

When the time comes to buy new jeans I usually go to one store, The Buckle. Let me start by saying that I love Buckle, they have great customer service and work with you until you find your perfect pair of jeans. Even though Buckle sells all different kinds of merchandise like shirts, shoes and accessories they are known for their jeans. Buckle carries over twenty five different brands of jeans online and has many different styles of fits including a small selection of plus size jeans. They also carry jeans for short and tall women. I have always loved getting my jeans at the Buckle. Even though their jeans fit me great in the past when I started gaining weight it became harder for me to find jeans. Recently I found a fit of jeans that work wonderfully with my curvy girl body.

How I pick out my jeans?

When it comes to time to pick out my jeans it is super easy thanks to the BKE Peyton fit jeans at Buckle. I can almost promise you that if you are a really curvy girl like me you will fall in love with BKE Peyton jeans. These jeans are perfection! They come in two types Skinny and boot cut. Since I have a HUGE BUTT and wide hips it has always been very hard for me to find jeans that cover all of my booty. Well since I came across the BKE Peyton fit all of that has changed. These jeans cover my entire butt and I don’t have to worry about my underwear or butt showing when I sit down. They have the perfect amount of stretch to them. You can wear these jeans for a week straight and not have to worry about them losing their shape. I really love the fact that they sit a little below my natural waistline that way I don’t have a muffin top. They are also meant to be eased through the hip and thigh, which means no fighting with your jeans in order to get them on. I have never owned a pair of jeans that I love so much! The average pair cost anywhere from eighty to ninety dollars. They do have some for thirty-seven dollars that are factory jeans, but they come with some flaws.

For the girls that aren’t super curvy I would still recommend going to the buckle they have jeans for all body types. Most of my friends shop there for their jeans also and we all have very different body types.  The buckle is definitely a one stop shop for the whole family! (:

Five things to remember when buying jeans!

1.) Always try them on at the store. Make sure to sit stand and walk in the jeans you’re trying on, that way you know how the jeans are going to fit when you wear them.

2.) Remember jeans are alterable as long as they fit at the biggest part of your body anything else can be taken in! (when you buy jeans at the Buckle they come with free alteration)

3.) Don’t worry about the size; worry about the way the jeans fit. It’s important to remember to not focus on the size of the jean. Don’t go a size smaller just because it means you’re a size four instead of a six. If your jeans are too tight you’re going to look bigger not smaller.

4.) Find jeans that work in more than one way! If a pair of jeans can be dressed up and dressed down that means they are a GREAT buy.

5.) Make sure you feel comfortable! What matters most is that you feel comfortable and confident in what you’re wearing!

CraZy DaYS

For the next three days my life will be at work styling our fabulous customers at the boutique. For those who don’t know me personally I love fashion and everything to do with it. My family would call me a diva, but I just think it is important to try to look as presentable as possible. For me my day depends on how I look. If I feel and look pretty, I will most likely have a great day.  Don’t get me wrong there’s day that I leave my house in a t-shirt, yoga pants and Uggs boots but most of the time I try to look nice.

The store I work at Christa Landmark Boutique will be having our annual crazy day’s sales and hopefully the store will be packed with customers. At the boutique we strive to help our customers find clothes that make them look great. That involves finding clothes age appropriate, and styles that work with each body type. There nothing I love more than being able to help someone look and feel great in what they are wearing. I know that might sound a tad bit silly but for me it’s not. It’s an amazing feeling to know that you helped someone feel beautiful. I think as humans most of us feel good when we can help out others. So I love the idea that I get to do that every day when I go to work. It’s so rewarding for me.  One day I hope to be able to help many women look fabulous and be able to feel good in their own skin. Dreaming of Fall!

Even though we are in July I’m already thinking about fall, thanks to Pinterest.  Fall is by far one of my favorite seasons just because it’s not too cold and it’s not too hot.  For me fall is when I have the most clothing options because I can mix my summer and winter wardrobe together and make the cutest outfits ever.  In august I will be teaching you guys how to mix your summer and winter wardrobes together, in order to make the perfect fall attire.  Until then I will have to dream of cute fall outfits and enjoy the rest of my summer, that’s going by oh so fast!

July Glam Bag!

Today I got my July Glam Bag in the mail. I actually received it on Saturday but I wasn’t home when the mail man came so I had to go pick it up this morning.  I was looking forward to Monday all weekend because I knew I had a couple of packages coming for me in the mail. I love the surprise feeling you get once you open your glam bag, it’s the best.  The theme for this month’s Glam Bag was beach beauty. I think they did a great job tying the products in the bag around the beach beauty theme.  The July glam bag had five products in it, with seven options of items you could have gotten.  The products I received were:

I have only tried one out of the five products above.  I actually use it every day before i go to bed, that product is the Yes To Cucumbers Facial Towelettes.  The other four products are new to me. I went on youtube today and  watched some of the July Glam bag videos to see what other Glammies got in there July glam bag, and what they thought about this months glam bag. Most of the Glammies reaction were pretty similar in the videos I watched, they all seemed to have liked their July glam bag. The only thing I wish I could have changed in my bag was the color of my Josie Maran Lip and check stain, mine is a really deep shade that doesn’t look that great with my skin tone.   Guess purfume- I recently just got this again for my birthdayand I fell in love with it all over again! I first started using this perfumeabout four or five years ago. When I started using it, it became my go-toperfume for about two years. Then I discovered Princess by Vera Wang and Istopped using it until now. Honestly, I think this might have been one of myfavorite birthday presents this year, just because I love the sent so much! Isuck at describing scents, so I’m not even going to try, but I will say that ifyou are a fan of Vera Wang Princess you will most likely love this scent too.It’s very subtle but smells so yummmyy.
  
  
  Living Proof Frizz Nourishing styling cream - I have triedthis a couple times this month when I have straightened my hair and let me sayit works FABULOUSLY! The humidity has been over the top for the past two weeksin Minnesota and I was super hesitant to straighten my hair. When I didstraighten it, I made sure to use this product and let me say it worked likemagic. I wore my hair strait for two days and it looked great on both days. Iwill definitely be buying this again and I’m sure it will be my go-to item thissummer when I do choose to straighten my hair.
  
  
  Mary kay timewise age-fighting moisturizer - I am not goingto say this is my favorite moisturizer of all time because it’s not but I didfind myself reaching for this a lot in the month of June. So I thought I shouldput it in here. This specific moisturizer comes in two types; I use the kindfor combo-oily skin. The reason that I used this product a lot in June isbecause I love the way it makes my skin feel and look. I can put this on in themorning and know that my skin will be moisturized without having to worry aboutmy face looking greasy throughout the day. For me not having an oily-lookingface is very important because my T-zone is always nice & shiny. The onething I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t come with SPF. For me it’s veryimportant to have SPF in my moisturizers because I like to protect my face fromthe sun. If it doesn’t bother you when facial moisturizers don’t have SPF, thenI would recommend this product to you!
  
  
  EOS Lip Balm- These have been around for a while now but Ijust started using them like three months ago and I’m super addicted! They makemy lips look and feel incredibly smooth. When I choose a lip butter or balm, Ialways go organic. I just feel that organic products work best for my lips,most other balms seem to dry my lips more than they actually moisturize them. Iwould definitely recommend this to everyone, plus they are only like fourdollars so there’s not much to lose. Oh, and they Smell SOOOOOO YUMMMYYY!!!
  NYX round Lipstick in shade CHLOE- I got this lipstick in myJune glam bag and I love it. I am really drawn to purple-pink shades and thislipstick is just that. This lipstick just glides on my lips super smoothly andthe fact that it has shimmer in it is a plus. The shade is perfect for a nightout. The only thing I don’t like about it is that its wearablity isn’t longlasting on my lips but other than that I really truly love it.
  
  
  Urban Decay Primer Potion In the shade GREED - I’m a huge fanof all the urban decay primer potions I think they work amazingly. This month Ihave been using greed more than the original one which is very unusual for me.I would describe the shade greed as a beautiful light yellow/golden shimmerycolor. I have been using it on my eyelid by itself instead of shadow becauseit’s very light weight on my lid. It adds a little bit of color/shimmer to myeye.  What’s even better is that I don’thave to worry about it coming off or touching it up during the day since it isa long wearing tinted primer. This has been my everyday eye look when I’m notgoing anywhere important.
  
  
  Maybelline's Dream Bouncy Blush in Peach Satin- I really likewhole line of Maybelline bouncy blushes because they go on very smoothly andthey are all such pretty colors. I have been using the shade peach satin mostthis month because it’s a very light pretty shimmery pink and I think it goes wellwith everything. Its adds the perfect amount of light pink to your cheek, ifyou want a simple fun flirty look.
  
  
  Jemma Kidd ON SET MATTIFYING POWDER- So I don’t know if youhave noticed a theme but for the summer I try to wear as little makeup aspossible because I don’t like having a shiny face. I prefer to wear a naturalsun kissed look with mascara then get all done up in makeup. Since I can’t pullalways pull off the sun kissed glow I sometimes have to be a big girl and wheremy normal makeup. For instance when I’m going out at night. Times like this Iturn to my onset mattifying powder because it kills the shine on my face for atleast four hours. It works like a gem. If you have problems with shine on yourface I truly recommend this product to you! It does cost $21.00 but I thinkit’s a great investment and a phenomenal product.
  
  
  L'Oreal Colour Riche Nail Polish, Tangerine Crush- This is such abeautiful color, I would describe it as a orangey/pink shade. I have nevertried L’oreal Nail polish before and boy was I impressed. The color isbeautiful and it stayed on for 9 days without a chip. For me that is huge dealfor me because my nail polish always chips after two or three days. Anotherplus about it is that after two coats it almost looks perfect and it driessuper quickly. I will be going back for some more colors. Once again I was veryimpressed.

Hey there cuties!

So even though my birthday was two weeks ago I haven’t gotten around to writing a birthday blog about what I did and what I got! So I figured I would, it’s going to be quick and simple since my last blog post was super long! So on Saturday before my birthday, I went out with my friends as planned. We went out to supper (the people at the restaurant sang to me which I completely hate), after that went bowling and then we kind of just hung out around town dancing and being crazy! On Tuesday which was my birthday I kind of just relaxed during the day, Estevan( my husband) got home from work with some beautiful flowers for me then we went out to dinner and enjoyed the evening together. Wednesday, Carla took me out to dinner and for some gambling, which was so much fun, even though I lost my money playing slots. Saturday night my husband and I went to the rodeo (yes that’s how country it is where I live); we had a blast watching the whole thing. The best part to me was watching the cowboys on their horses and bulls doing their thing, soo sexyyy! After that we went to the street dance, which got a little bit crazy, so there’s no need to mention what went on!( (; That mostly sums up what I did for my birthday and not to forget I did go shopping as always! My friends, family and husband where amazing, and gave me a fun birthday with great presents so thank you to all of you that celebrated my birthday week with me, it means a lot!!   Here are some pictures of some of the stuff I got, some things aren’t included! My favorite gifts were my new watch, my Guess perfume, a really yummy candle, and of course my camera!! Sorry that I didn’t get around take taking to many pictures of what we actually did, I was a little bit too busy having fun!
