Any advice?

Hey cuties! 

Ok let me just start by saying I’m so not computer smart at all, which is super sad since I’m only twenty! Any who I want to start­­ a blog hop within the next couple weeks but im clueless on what all I need to do lol! I know that I need to set up a widget account and promote it.  I also need to make a button (if anybody wants to help that would be wonderful), do you guys know of any easy sites that I can make one at? I’m currently contacting a couple blogs to see if they would like to host with me is there anything else that I am missing? If so please let me know! Since I’m new to this whole scene I don’t know a lot but I do want to learn!!! So if any of you have advice or tips that you are willing to offer I would love to hear them!((:

I also want to thank all of my followers for following it means a lot. I love taking the time to read your guys post. I don’t always have enough time to read everyone’s but I try to read as much as I can!  It’s so fun getting a little glimpse of everyone’s life! 1.       I’m a crazy shop-a-holic! Every time I say I need something new everyone just looks at me and says No you don’t but I can’t help it I love clothes!

2.       I want to own my own clothing boutique one day, but for now I just work at one!

3.       I am a newlywed! I married my high school sweet heart almost a year ago!

5.       I love to fish! I’m a huge girly girl but in the summer u can catch me on a doc baiting a hook!

6.       I might be one of the worst singers ever- I’m super monotoned when it comes to singing! This sucks because when I was little I thought I was going to be the next Brittney spears.  Even though my dreams were crushed, I still sing all the time.

1. What is your favorite time of year?

Fall! I love seeing all the beautiful colors change! Plus I love fall fashion. Who doesn't love warm sweaters, cute boots and hot chocolate!

2. If you could be any celebrity in the world who it would it be and why?

Lauren Conrad! I honestly just love her! She is so cute and her amazing style. She isn’t crazy wild and she seems pretty real to me. I love that she has her own clothing line (what a dream) & beauty blog! That’s a great life but I would have to bring my hubby with me.

3. What is your favorite memory growing up?

Being at home with the family, I know that’s cheesy. Growing up we were always busy with sports and my parents working. So the days we all were home and just got to sit in our movie theater room and catch up on our shows were the best.

We also had some awesome Christmases. Thanks to our wonderful parents.

4. who is your role model?

My mom! I would be happy being just half of the women who she is today. She’s strong, independent, loving, driven and has a huge heart.

5. who was your favorite singer/ band in high school?

Spice girls I feel in love with them when I was little and still until today I love them. I just like putting on some of thee music and jamming out.

6. what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always thought I was going to go to Harvard and be a lawyer! 

7. what was your favorite vacation?

New York!

8. if you could be a super hero what would your super hero name be and why?

Everyone always ask this question and I don’t know how to answer it! I mean I was never really into superheroes growing up. Now I like them because my hubby got me into watching the movies!  But I honestly would never want to be a super hero to much work lol but if I could have a super power it would be to eat everything I want and still be skinny!

9. What is your favorite movie?

Hocus Pocus! That is honestly my favorite. I love watching it, it makes me feel like a little kid.

10. If you could describe yourself in one word what would it be and why?

Bubbly! Everyone says I’m bubbly and I guess I truly am. I’m always happy, fun and simile!

11. What was your best halloween costume?

I think it would of had to been when I was a clown when I was four! I have to admit I made a pretty cute clown!

The beauty in life is always inspires me. It’s amazing! Also a good country song!

2.      Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because a lot of women would ask me for fashion advice, so I just decided to put together a site with fun and easy fashion advice. Hopefully my friends and family love it!

Taking pictures! I am not completely happy with my body so sometimes I hate taking pictures for my blog. I also find it hard to get my blog out there for more people to read!

Weekend Update/ Show & Tell

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend, I did. It was laid back which is nice, since I have been working my butt off! Not to mention it’s my hubby’s birthday this upcoming weekend, and our anniversary the following week! So we have a busy but really fun two weeks in front of us. Today I decided to join two link-up/ bloghop, the weekend update and show & tell. I didn't do anything crazy fun this weekend, I worked all of Friday then helped paint the church afterwords. Saturday I worked, then went out to eat with the hubbers, and ran errands. Sunday morning we went to church and celebrated my brother-in-laws birthday! After that we hung out with them for a while. I got my eyebrows and mustache waxed. It was my first time getting my wonderful mustache waxed it stung but it wasn't horrible. Since I didn't do anything for Halloween I decided to show you all some pictures of my last Halloween!

1.      Tell us about how and when you met your love and what attracted you most to him.

Well it’s a funny story! My junior year in high school I moved to a new school and only knew a handful of people that attended the school! Before my first day of school I was warned that there was a cute guy that would probably hit on me because he liked all the girls! I was like omg how pathetic. Never the less, I went to school the next day and the guy sat next to me at lunch (never meeting him before) and chatted my ear off. After a few weeks of talking I finally decided to go out on a date with him! Three short but amazing years later we got married! I always can’t help but laugh at the way we met! I honestly don’t know what attracted me most to him, he was just super sweet! Not that I have known him forever, I love him smile and his silly personality!

2. Show us the very first {or one of the first} pictures you guys ever took together. {Feel free to show us more than one}

This is the First picture we ever took,two weeks of dating!

3. Tell us some of your favorite memories that you two had together.

When we went to Universal Studios for his first time! It was the cutest thing, he walked in and he had the biggest smile on his face. Then he whispers thank you babe I never thought I would be able to see this with my own eyes. He was like a little kid on Christmas!

Fishing- I don’t know why but I always love to go fishing with him. We always have a great time together and its wonderful just being able to spend time outdoors.

Our wedding day- Obviously it’s wonderful memory; it’s the day that I made a promise to spend the rest of my life with my perfect match! It was an amazing day/time!

4. Tell us your favorite qualities about this man, what makes him "the one."

He always goes out of his way to surprise me and make me smile.

I love that I can be so silly and random with him (that might be my favorite). I love being able to just sit with him a home and be my dorky self and him appreciate every moment of it.

He’s a  great guitar player and beginning to be a great man of god, we both come from families of pastors (we were the rebel child) so it’s nice to finally settle down and really take time to enjoy each other and not just going out and being crazy all the time!

I love the he tries to understand all my crazy shop-a-holic ways! He’s always ask who or what I’m wearing and tries to give a lot of input on my style and what I could do on my blog. He is always so interested on making sure I’m happy!

He’s a family man, I love love love that! Family is very important to me and we share the same values which mean a lot to me. Family is the most important thing in life (in our opinion). Since we come from close families, it’s nice to know our future children will benefit from that also.

5. Tell us what your "date nights" typically look like.

We go out to eat every weekend (I hate cooking on the weekends) so when we have a “real date” it’s usually very nice! He usually starts by bringing me home flowers when he comes home from work, then we both get all dolled up and go and enjoy a fabulous restaurant. We always try to get dessert at a different place then were we had supper because we like restaurant hopping. If the weather is nice, we will go on a late night walk and go home for some romancing! lol

How did i do?

Hello lovelies !

I just wanted to do a quick post on what I’m wearing today! I was so nervous about this outfit! My blouse is a high-low blouse (here) and the first time I wore it I didn’t like out it look, so I decided to tuck it this morning!  As we all know I’m a chunky girl, so I didn’t know how it would turn out but it’s not too horrible! Sorry for the horrible pictures, i took them on my I-pod!

Jeggings & Leggings

Hey Girl Hey!
 So as I was lying in bed last night I thought to myself I started this blog as a fashion blog, So I should try to somewhat keep it that way. My first followers followed me so that they could know how to wear the latest trends & I want to keep blogging for them in that way! I am a woman of many traits so I want to incorporate all my wonderful traits into my blog! I am hoping to start a new blog hop for all my wonderful fashion lovers but I still need to find a wonderful blog who is willing to partner up with me (keeping my fingers crosses).

Fall has officially hit in Minnesota, which means that it’s time to start layering your clothes girlfriend!  Today I will be talking about your bottom half, and how to keep it covered and cute! There are so many options for us ladies nowadays Jeans, Jeggings, leggings, tights. But how do you know which one to you wear with what! When leggings first came out I was in seventh grade and we wore them under our jean mini-skirts now even my grandma wears leggings! With all these fabulous options out there we all need to know how to appropriately wear them. 

Jeggings

What is a Jegging? A jegging is a legging that is made to look like a tight skinny jean.  There are also denim Jeggings (My personal Favorite). They are Jeans that are made with the stretch of a legging (perfection I know).  Pajama pants are not jeggings and shouldn’t even be allowed, just needed to throw that out there.

How do you wear jeggins correctly?

1.)    If you plan on wearing a jegging that is more of a cotton blend than it is denim blend or looks like a legging avoid wearing/pairing them with anything that hits above your butt (don’t wear them like normal skinnies).  If you wear them with a regular top that hits your hips, they are most likely going to show all your imperfections and do nothing to falter your figure. Plus we don’t want your panty line showing! When wearing Jeggings that fit and feel like leggings pair them with longer flowy tops such as tunics, high-low blouses and long sweaters.

2.)    If you plan on wearing a jegging that is more of a denim blend, you will most likely be able to wear a shorter top with it. Just make sure that it’s not a super duper tight blouse. Jeggings that have pockets give structure to you booty, which is a good thing in case you’re wondering. When wearing a denim blend jegging you can pair a lot of things with them. One of my favorite ways to wear them is with a tucked in blouse, cute belt, statement necklace and boots. But like I said early you can wear them with almost anything, think of them as a comfy skinny!

Fun Fact- Jeggings look great with almost every shoe! You can pair them with flats, loafers, boots and sandals. If you’re feeling sexy rock them with a great pair of heels, your legs will instantly look longer.

Leggings

What is a legging? Well I don’t know how to describe them but they have been a trend for years now so I’m sure you all know what they are by now if not here’s a picture.

I want to start by saying any women no matter the age can wear leggings, you just need to know how to style them correctly!

How to wear leggings correctly!

1.)    Layer! Leggings are not pants therefore they should not be worn like pants. The first rule in wearing legging correctly is making sure your top layer is long enough! Basically unless your wear a skirt, your first layer should hit at least four inches (if not more) below your butt! That means you should always wear your leggings with a longer top, tunic, shirt dress, sweater, cardi dress or skirt.  Please don’t wear them with anything that hits below the knee either.

2.)    See through =NO NO- If Any part of your leggings are see through or sheer especially on your butt do not wear them, that pair belongs in the garbage or meant to be slept it!

3.)    Skirt & Boots- When wearing a short skirt with leggings always make sure to wear the outfit with boots!

4.)    Wear the correct shoes- Leggings look great with boots, ballet flats and sandals. The look horrendous with tennis shoes and the wrong pair heels!

5.)    Be creative but classy- Leggings are meant to be fun, accessorize them! Get creative when styling them but remember they should be looked at as tights not pants!

Twenty fun Facts!

Hey Pretty People!

Today I decided to post about me! I have a total of forty new followers which I am pumped about.  So I wanted to tell you all a little bit more about myself, that you guys know the brain behind the blog. I decided since I have forty new followers I would split this post into two different posts! Today I will post twenty fun facts about myself and next week I will answer 20 of your questions (Please ask me 20 questions lol)! Let’s start!

1.)    I was born June 19, 1992. That makes me 20!

2.)    I absolutely adore my parents! They moved to Florida two years ago with my siblings and life hasn't been the same since. The good thing is that my daddy works at Universal Studios, so when the hubby and I visit we get in for free.

3.)    I have two sisters and one brother!  

4.)    I am married to the biggest dork on the planet, he’s my best friend! We have been together since I was a 16!

5.)    Everyone refers to me as a diva but I would say I’m more of a fashionista!

6.)    I was a Cheerleading/Dancer all throughout high school!

7.)    I have a horrible first name! It’s Kiriath but it’s pronounced Key-D-Uh! When I was little I lied and said my name way holly, it was much easier to say!

8.)    I’m a super emotional person, I take everything to heart! Definitely not a good thing

9.)    I was a guest blogger for the store buckle! Yup that moment made my life!

10.) I lived in Tennessee for a year! I loved it, I wish I could go back. I loved being in a big city now I live in a little small town in Minnesota! The closest mall is almost two hours away!

11.) I have always wanted to be a southern belle! Is that weird? I feel like they are so pretty, well mannered, I love their style (yes women in the south dress a little differently but in a good way), Plus I love the accent and the way they say bless your heart! I’m a little obsessed!

12.) I wish I was back to being my old size! I always pretend I’m ok with being chunky but it kind of sucks lol! I miss my old clothes, I have a thyroid condition and it has caused me to gain weight! Plus I never work out (my fault I know)

13.) I secretly really want to have blogging friends (that sounds really pathetic huh?)

14.) I work at a clothing boutique and I honestly believe that it’s a blessing from god! I love my boss and co-worker. They both help me out so much and whenever I need to talk they are always there for me! Plus we have a fabulous time when we are together.

15.) I am one proud aunt! We don’t have any babies yet but I sure enjoy spending time with my cute nieces and nephews. They all make me day. They are all so smart and cute!

16.) I’m 100% Puerto Rican but my step dad (who I call dad) is Italian so I say im 50/50.

17.) I love Jesus! I have had a lot of changes in my life but one thing always stays the same and that’s his love for me!  So I like to return the favor!

18.) I'm obsessed with Pinterest (isn't the whole world).

19.) I Love fishing! If you knew me you would think that I was lying but I truly love it!

20.) I asked my husband what should be my last fact he said “Tell them that you’re a spunky, bubbly person. Everybody usually likes you, and goes to you for fashion advice; you love to spend my money. You really like blogging, you’re a good friend and a great silly wife”
