Cara Box Loving!

ITS HERRREEEEE! Does anyone remember that target add from last year? Any who it’s finally time for you guys to get to read the post that I have wanted to put up for a while, My Cara Box Swap!   Last month I saw many bloggers raving about Cara box? In my head I was like what is this? Come to find out that Cara box is an amazing way to meet new bloggers and make great friends! Right away I was like I need to be part of this! If you haven’t heard about Cara box yet and are wondering what it is let me explain it for ya! Cara Box is kind of like having a blogger pen pal! You get paired with another blogger and for that month you guys get to be besties! You follow each other’s blog, leave comments, get to know each other and at the end of the month you send each other a package full of goodies!  Doesn’t that sound amazing?

This month was my first month participating and boy am I happy that I did. First off I got paired with the beautiful, sweet and kind Callie from My Something New With You (here)! She is honestly a doll not to mention that her and her hubby are ADORABLE! I loved getting to know her  and had such a good time picking out her goodies.

Didn’t she bless me with great things! My favorite Part was the Secret Southern Recipes. Anyone who knows me knows that I have always wanted to be a southern belle, so those recipes made me day. Every time I cook them I will feel like a southern lady. Her card was so sweet and perfect for who I am, it showed all of the Greek goddesses. The chocolates where delicious even though I only got to eat two because I came home the following day and my wonderful husband had eaten the rest of them, HOW RUDE!!! I love that she sent me an ornament we are both putting up our first Christmas tree this year so I can’t wait to see this gorgeous ornament hanging on our tree! She also sent me some gorgeous bling, cute home goods and very sweet cute coasters!  Wasn't I spoiled by her?!  She is honestly the best! Weekend Update!

Happy Monday!

How was your holiday weekend?! Mine was great I enjoyed it even though I worked Friday and Saturday.

Thursday I got up early to watch the Macy’s day parade and cook what I had to make for our family thanksgiving. Thankfully it’s not my turn to cook the turkey yet, so I got to make to easy stuff, Stuffing, Rolls and Dessert! After eating our faces out I went and visited some of my side of the family.  I finished the night getting punched in the face at Wal-Mart for some twenty dollar sheets. Glorious I tell you!

Friday I worked and we had some great deals going on.  All of our boutique’s jewelry was under ten bucks and all of our coats whereon sale. That kept a steady flow to the store so the day went by pretty fast.

Saturday morning my husband took me out for breakfast bright and early and I went to work after. My husband cousin was celebrating her quinceanera (Hispanic sweet 15) so we both attended that after I got off.  We finished the night babysitting my adorable sweet niece

Sunday we did the usual Church, football and Revenge.

Thanksgiving fashion!

Happy hump day!!

How are ya? I’m exhausted! Lately there is not a time in the day where I don’t want to be asleep. I can thank my wonderful Thyroid for that! Any who, today I am guest blogging at My Something New With You thanks to the wonderful Callie smith!  I decided to go a post about thanksgiving fashions if you are interested in reading it click (HERE). I highly recommend that you do not because I’m guest blogging but because Callie is a sweet and gorgeous girl and I love her blog. She is honestly such a genuine person and so fun. I am so thankful that I got her as a Cara Box Partner this month!

I hope you all have a fabulous thanksgiving weekend and eat your hearts out.  My eating will be cut short since my wonderful husband is one of those crazy black Friday shoppers!  Last year we waited in line for six hours for a big TV! The worst part was that after we waited in line there was no need to wait because there were more TVs then there were people who actually wanted them.  Wish me luck hopefully this year there will be no waiting in lines too early!

Weekend Recap!!

Happy Monday Darlings!!!

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I had a Fabulous Jam packed weekend which I loved! Saturday was our Girls Nights Event at the boutique. I had so much fun working the event. It was a great time, especially seeing all the women get all dolled up with hair and makeup! There was some great food and great vendors which made the night even more amazing! After the event I had to hurry and drive and hour across town for my own girls night with the family! We all went to watch Break dawn part two. Let me tell you it was AHHHH-MAZE-INGGG. They did a great job on the movie (keep in mind I have never read the books) but I am definitely sad that whole serious is over now! 

Sunday we went to church as usual and did a whole lot of nothing after. Football and junk food is what it looked like at our house yesterday. Perfection at its best!!

November Glam Bag!

Its November Glam bag time! I just got this baby in the mail on Tuesday and boy am I pleased. I love this month’s glam bag I feel like they are getting better and better each time.  Have no idea what a glam bag is? It’s a monthly beauty bag subscription! You pay ten bucks a month and u get a makeup bag filled with 4-5 deluxe sampled or full sized products!

How was your weekend? I had an amazing weekend spending time with my wonderful husband.

Here is what we ended up doing for anniversary gifts!

From Him to ME!!

Not going to lie I am so in love with my new wedding ring! My husband got me a beautiful engagement ring and I lost it right when I started college, opps! So right before the wedding we ended up buy and cheap and ugly replacement that never ever really got worn. When he opened up the little but amazing jewelry box on Friday night and I saw the ring I almost died! I honestly had no idea I was going to get a new ring. I asked for one but I didn’t really expect to get one. It was like he was asking me to marry him all over again. I get a huge smile on my face just thinking about it)

For Me to HIM!!

He has wanted Beats By Dre Solo Headphones for ever. So after I the BLING BLING that he got me as a anniversary gift I got suckered in and bought him a pair. I mean they can’t really beat diamonds but hey he is totally happy with them.  He has also wanted a big kid bible so I bought him one of those with some extra stuff to help him study the bible easier.  Being a man of god always comes first! I also got him some little gifts also!

Thank you to all the ladies who gave me advice on what to get! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our first year together!

Hey There Sexay Thang!

Yes I Know that I haven’t posted in two days I have been as sick as a dog, and a female dog at that. I must be coming down with a cold and to top it off my wisdom teeth are growing in and I can barely chew without wanting to cry. It has not been my week. I don’t want to get dressed (you know it’s serious when I don’t want to get dressed) and my hair hasn’t been washed since Sunday, nasty I know. Don’t worry I have at least been showering every day. I’m just in a sick and in a slump I guess.

Thank the lord that it’s Friday and we are celebrating our anniversary this weekend. Hopefully I can shake off this cold and be in a wonderfully romantic mood all weekend. I can’t believe that it’s been one year next week of us being married. Its crazy how time flies. I feel like it was just yesterday we were saying I do.  I need some ideas one what to give for a first year anniversary gift! Since it was his birthday last weekend I got him everything he wanted for that & now I have absolutely no idea what to do. He’s a manly man so when it comes to presents I don’t know what to do. For his birthday I got him a new welding helmet which he has been wanting for a while and a bunch of tools that he asked for. I want to get him something that has meaning and he will appreciate.  Oh Lordy, I’m so not creative and I really wish I was.  Any idea ladies?

On another note! I’m so excited to start Cara Box This month! This month’s theme is childhood, WOOT WOOT.  If you have no idea what I am talking about click HERE for more info (you will be sad if you don’t check it out). I got my partner yesterday and she is the beautiful Callie at My Something New with you (Here). I’m so excited to get to know her and make her a great Cara box!

MY JOBS!

As cheesy as that sounds it’s the truth! I am honestly so blessed to have two jobs that I love and enjoy! I work as a stylist at a cute boutique and as a Mary Kay consultant!

What I love about working at the boutique is that I get to help people look and feel there best! Nothing makes my day more than being able to help someone feel beautiful! I love working with our customers and helping them find there perfect look and develop their own personal style. I Love getting to chat with our steady customers and getting to know them. I have an amazing boss and co-worker! They are both super cute and super sweet, who honestly would love working with fabulous clothes and people all day long! Being a Mary Kay consultant rocks! One; I get to work with amazing products. Two, I get to decided how much I work. Three, I have amazing customers! Before I decided to be a Mary Kay consultant I was a Mary Kay customer for about a year! Before I started buying Mary Kay I just bought drug store products, which were working just fine. As soon as a started using Mary Kay I noticed a huge difference in my complexion.  My face was so much healthier and softer. I instantly fell in love with the products! About ten months later, I decided to take the plunge and become a consultant! I am so glad that I did. I have amazing team members and work when I have the time to! I also love getting to know my new customers. The smile they have on their face after they get a free facial is amazing. I am so lucky that I get to work with an amazing company and amazing people! Weekend Update

Happy Monday!

I’m exhausted & I want to go back to bed! I had a super jam packed weekend and now I’m super tired! I know that the one hour time difference is supposed to make us feel more rested but I feel even more shweepyyy. I guess I can’t complain though because I had a great weekend and my hubby said it was his second most favorite birthday! We didn’t do anything crazy fun but he was spoiled rotten and got to do whatever he wanted!

Friday we went to the closest city around here and went out for supper! I let him pick because it was his birthday weekend. Guess were we ended up… McDonalds! Seriously I was thinking we would go somewhere nice. Nope he picked Mickey d’s, which I guess makes sense since I never ever want to eat there. We went to the movies after to watch Racket Ralph (his choice) and finished the night by getting groceries.

Saturday we road tripped it and went to Sioux Falls with my sister in law. We did some shopping; well I did some shopping and went out for dinner at Texas road house! It was his first time ever going there, he loved it. He ordered the 20 oz bone in rib eye and I ordered the steak and grilled shrimp. We finished the meal by having him ride the saddle for his birthday!

Sunday we went to church as usual. After that his parents prepared a meal for him, he cut his birthday cake and he opened all his birthday presents!

As you see we had a super busy weekend! I passed out right after revenge last night! Sorry For just listing off what we did! I have no creativity right now!

Birthday fun!

Hey there beauties!

Happy Fridayy! Just a fair warning I have a huge headache, I mean massive! So if what I am saying doesn’t make sense that is probably why! I have a busy weekend and hopefully I will remember to take A LOT of pictures to post for you on Monday! My husband is turning 22 tomorrow, so my weekend will be filled with everything being just about him! L For his Birthday he wanted a new Welding helmet so his spoiled ass, got one! I really shouldn’t say he’s spoiled because I’m the spoiled one in our relationship! But every once in a while I will splurge on him and get him what he wants with my own money! Yup that’s right most of the time when he ask me to get him something I use his money to buy it. Yes I am super stingy with my money and I don’t care! I mean he makes like 10 times what I make in a month, so why shouldn’t I use his own money! Any who this year I don’t have anything huge planned for him. Last year I tried to throw him a surprise party for his 21 birthday but since I suck at keeping surprises it didn’t really work out! He knew he was having a party after only one day of me planning it, epic fail! So this year I’m keeping it simple, we will probably do the usual and go out to eat with family & friends open presents and what not! After church on Sunday we will have a little get together for him and sing happy birthday! Nothing major, sorry babe! Next week we will be leaving town and celebrating our one year anniversary so I’ll make up for it then!

Let’s move on and talk about next weekend! Next weekend we will be in the cities (twin cities) for our one year! DO you guys have any suggestions on what we should do? I mean what do normal people do to celebrate there one year! I will probably force the hubby to go shopping with me but I really hope that I can be strong and resist shopping! I would love to have a fun romantic weekend! SO please shopping addiction leave me alone for just one weekend! I want to be able to enjoy our little getaway!

Any who I need to lay down because I’m going to pass out my head hurts so badly!
