Weekend Update

Happy Monday!

I’m exhausted & I want to go back to bed! I had a super jam packed weekend and now I’m super tired! I know that the one hour time difference is supposed to make us feel more rested but I feel even more shweepyyy. I guess I can’t complain though because I had a great weekend and my hubby said it was his second most favorite birthday! We didn’t do anything crazy fun but he was spoiled rotten and got to do whatever he wanted!

Friday we went to the closest city around here and went out for supper! I let him pick because it was his birthday weekend. Guess were we ended up… McDonalds! Seriously I was thinking we would go somewhere nice. Nope he picked Mickey d’s, which I guess makes sense since I never ever want to eat there. We went to the movies after to watch Racket Ralph (his choice) and finished the night by getting groceries.

Saturday we road tripped it and went to Sioux Falls with my sister in law. We did some shopping; well I did some shopping and went out for dinner at Texas road house! It was his first time ever going there, he loved it. He ordered the 20 oz bone in rib eye and I ordered the steak and grilled shrimp. We finished the meal by having him ride the saddle for his birthday!

Sunday we went to church as usual. After that his parents prepared a meal for him, he cut his birthday cake and he opened all his birthday presents!

As you see we had a super busy weekend! I passed out right after revenge last night! Sorry For just listing off what we did! I have no creativity right now!

Birthday fun!

Hey there beauties!

Happy Fridayy! Just a fair warning I have a huge headache, I mean massive! So if what I am saying doesn’t make sense that is probably why! I have a busy weekend and hopefully I will remember to take A LOT of pictures to post for you on Monday! My husband is turning 22 tomorrow, so my weekend will be filled with everything being just about him! L For his Birthday he wanted a new Welding helmet so his spoiled ass, got one! I really shouldn’t say he’s spoiled because I’m the spoiled one in our relationship! But every once in a while I will splurge on him and get him what he wants with my own money! Yup that’s right most of the time when he ask me to get him something I use his money to buy it. Yes I am super stingy with my money and I don’t care! I mean he makes like 10 times what I make in a month, so why shouldn’t I use his own money! Any who this year I don’t have anything huge planned for him. Last year I tried to throw him a surprise party for his 21 birthday but since I suck at keeping surprises it didn’t really work out! He knew he was having a party after only one day of me planning it, epic fail! So this year I’m keeping it simple, we will probably do the usual and go out to eat with family & friends open presents and what not! After church on Sunday we will have a little get together for him and sing happy birthday! Nothing major, sorry babe! Next week we will be leaving town and celebrating our one year anniversary so I’ll make up for it then!

Let’s move on and talk about next weekend! Next weekend we will be in the cities (twin cities) for our one year! DO you guys have any suggestions on what we should do? I mean what do normal people do to celebrate there one year! I will probably force the hubby to go shopping with me but I really hope that I can be strong and resist shopping! I would love to have a fun romantic weekend! SO please shopping addiction leave me alone for just one weekend! I want to be able to enjoy our little getaway!

Any who I need to lay down because I’m going to pass out my head hurts so badly!

Any advice?

Hey cuties! 

Ok let me just start by saying I’m so not computer smart at all, which is super sad since I’m only twenty! Any who I want to start­­ a blog hop within the next couple weeks but im clueless on what all I need to do lol! I know that I need to set up a widget account and promote it.  I also need to make a button (if anybody wants to help that would be wonderful), do you guys know of any easy sites that I can make one at? I’m currently contacting a couple blogs to see if they would like to host with me is there anything else that I am missing? If so please let me know! Since I’m new to this whole scene I don’t know a lot but I do want to learn!!! So if any of you have advice or tips that you are willing to offer I would love to hear them!((:

I also want to thank all of my followers for following it means a lot. I love taking the time to read your guys post. I don’t always have enough time to read everyone’s but I try to read as much as I can!  It’s so fun getting a little glimpse of everyone’s life! 1.       I’m a crazy shop-a-holic! Every time I say I need something new everyone just looks at me and says No you don’t but I can’t help it I love clothes!

2.       I want to own my own clothing boutique one day, but for now I just work at one!

3.       I am a newlywed! I married my high school sweet heart almost a year ago!

4.       I speak Spanish!

5.       I love to fish! I’m a huge girly girl but in the summer u can catch me on a doc baiting a hook!

6.       I might be one of the worst singers ever- I’m super monotoned when it comes to singing! This sucks because when I was little I thought I was going to be the next Brittney spears.  Even though my dreams were crushed, I still sing all the time.

7.       I live in a super small town in Minnesota!

8.       I graduated with about 80 kids  (it was the biggest class the school has ever had)

9.       I’m the crazy fun sister who gets my little sister out of her box!

1. What is your favorite time of year?

Fall! I love seeing all the beautiful colors change! Plus I love fall fashion. Who doesn't love warm sweaters, cute boots and hot chocolate!

2. If you could be any celebrity in the world who it would it be and why?

Lauren Conrad! I honestly just love her! She is so cute and her amazing style. She isn’t crazy wild and she seems pretty real to me. I love that she has her own clothing line (what a dream) & beauty blog! That’s a great life but I would have to bring my hubby with me.

3. What is your favorite memory growing up?

Being at home with the family, I know that’s cheesy. Growing up we were always busy with sports and my parents working. So the days we all were home and just got to sit in our movie theater room and catch up on our shows were the best.

We also had some awesome Christmases. Thanks to our wonderful parents.

4. who is your role model?

My mom! I would be happy being just half of the women who she is today. She’s strong, independent, loving, driven and has a huge heart.

5. who was your favorite singer/ band in high school?

Spice girls I feel in love with them when I was little and still until today I love them. I just like putting on some of thee music and jamming out.

6. what did you want to be when you grew up?

I always thought I was going to go to Harvard and be a lawyer! 

7. what was your favorite vacation?

New York!

8. if you could be a super hero what would your super hero name be and why?

Everyone always ask this question and I don’t know how to answer it! I mean I was never really into superheroes growing up. Now I like them because my hubby got me into watching the movies!  But I honestly would never want to be a super hero to much work lol but if I could have a super power it would be to eat everything I want and still be skinny!

9. What is your favorite movie?

Hocus Pocus! That is honestly my favorite. I love watching it, it makes me feel like a little kid.

10. If you could describe yourself in one word what would it be and why?

Bubbly! Everyone says I’m bubbly and I guess I truly am. I’m always happy, fun and simile!

11. What was your best halloween costume?

I think it would of had to been when I was a clown when I was four! I have to admit I made a pretty cute clown!

The beauty in life is always inspires me. It’s amazing! Also a good country song!

2.      Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because a lot of women would ask me for fashion advice, so I just decided to put together a site with fun and easy fashion advice. Hopefully my friends and family love it!

3.      What do you find challenging about blogging?

Taking pictures! I am not completely happy with my body so sometimes I hate taking pictures for my blog. I also find it hard to get my blog out there for more people to read!

Weekend Update/ Show & Tell

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend, I did. It was laid back which is nice, since I have been working my butt off! Not to mention it’s my hubby’s birthday this upcoming weekend, and our anniversary the following week! So we have a busy but really fun two weeks in front of us. Today I decided to join two link-up/ bloghop, the weekend update and show & tell. I didn't do anything crazy fun this weekend, I worked all of Friday then helped paint the church afterwords. Saturday I worked, then went out to eat with the hubbers, and ran errands. Sunday morning we went to church and celebrated my brother-in-laws birthday! After that we hung out with them for a while. I got my eyebrows and mustache waxed. It was my first time getting my wonderful mustache waxed it stung but it wasn't horrible. Since I didn't do anything for Halloween I decided to show you all some pictures of my last Halloween!

1.      Tell us about how and when you met your love and what attracted you most to him.

Well it’s a funny story! My junior year in high school I moved to a new school and only knew a handful of people that attended the school! Before my first day of school I was warned that there was a cute guy that would probably hit on me because he liked all the girls! I was like omg how pathetic. Never the less, I went to school the next day and the guy sat next to me at lunch (never meeting him before) and chatted my ear off. After a few weeks of talking I finally decided to go out on a date with him! Three short but amazing years later we got married! I always can’t help but laugh at the way we met! I honestly don’t know what attracted me most to him, he was just super sweet! Not that I have known him forever, I love him smile and his silly personality!

2. Show us the very first {or one of the first} pictures you guys ever took together. {Feel free to show us more than one}

This is the First picture we ever took,two weeks of dating!

3. Tell us some of your favorite memories that you two had together.

When we went to Universal Studios for his first time! It was the cutest thing, he walked in and he had the biggest smile on his face. Then he whispers thank you babe I never thought I would be able to see this with my own eyes. He was like a little kid on Christmas!

Fishing- I don’t know why but I always love to go fishing with him. We always have a great time together and its wonderful just being able to spend time outdoors.

Our wedding day- Obviously it’s wonderful memory; it’s the day that I made a promise to spend the rest of my life with my perfect match! It was an amazing day/time!

4. Tell us your favorite qualities about this man, what makes him "the one."

He always goes out of his way to surprise me and make me smile.

I love that I can be so silly and random with him (that might be my favorite). I love being able to just sit with him a home and be my dorky self and him appreciate every moment of it.

He’s a  great guitar player and beginning to be a great man of god, we both come from families of pastors (we were the rebel child) so it’s nice to finally settle down and really take time to enjoy each other and not just going out and being crazy all the time!

I love the he tries to understand all my crazy shop-a-holic ways! He’s always ask who or what I’m wearing and tries to give a lot of input on my style and what I could do on my blog. He is always so interested on making sure I’m happy!

He’s a family man, I love love love that! Family is very important to me and we share the same values which mean a lot to me. Family is the most important thing in life (in our opinion). Since we come from close families, it’s nice to know our future children will benefit from that also.

5. Tell us what your "date nights" typically look like.

We go out to eat every weekend (I hate cooking on the weekends) so when we have a “real date” it’s usually very nice! He usually starts by bringing me home flowers when he comes home from work, then we both get all dolled up and go and enjoy a fabulous restaurant. We always try to get dessert at a different place then were we had supper because we like restaurant hopping. If the weather is nice, we will go on a late night walk and go home for some romancing! lol

How did i do?

Hello lovelies !

I just wanted to do a quick post on what I’m wearing today! I was so nervous about this outfit! My blouse is a high-low blouse (here) and the first time I wore it I didn’t like out it look, so I decided to tuck it this morning!  As we all know I’m a chunky girl, so I didn’t know how it would turn out but it’s not too horrible! Sorry for the horrible pictures, i took them on my I-pod!
