I think it’s safe to say that most of us in the United
States have heard the song black and yellow. If you know it, you might catch yourself
singing it more than once this fall. Why you ask, because black and gold are going
to be a huge trend! I spotted black and
gold all over the runways in New York, Milan, London & Paris. I predict that
it will be one of fall/winters most wearable trends! What I love about this
trend is that it is so easy to put together. What’s even better is most of us
already have black and gold clothing or accessories in our wardrobe. That means that we won’t have to spend a ton
of money in order to rock this trend.
How
to Rock It!
This trend might be one of the easiest to wear this fall, because
of the fact that there are so many ways to pair gold and black together. Almost
everyone has some black in there closet (I might own too much). Since gold is
such a popular color for jewelry you most likely won’t have to go out and buy a
ton of it. If you don’t own anything in a gold hue, ask an older relative if they
have any gold toned jewelry that they can let you borrow. Gold was huge in the
80’s and 90’s so they are bound to have something you can use. Some simple ways
to wear gold & black is pairing black tops with gold jewelry. This doesn’t mean
that only can only wear to black and gold to rock this trend. You can wear any
color you want and just wear gold and black accessories. Right now I love the
gold watch and black bracelets look, So Fab! For my fashionista’s why limit yourself to
just black shirts and gold jewelry! Why not rock a black and gold Purse or
black and gold set of heels instead. Since Metallics are in go for gold
top/dress and pair it with Black accessories. For an edgier look I have been seeing
black leather jackets, with gold embellishments that are to too die for. I definitely
want to pick one up soon. These are just a couple simple ways to wear black and
gold, there are many more possible options. Just remember no matter what your
wearing make it resemble your style and feel confident in it.
