FUR BABY FURRR!

Happy Monday My Lovely’s!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, I enjoyed mine. I worked Saturday morning, went fishing in the afternoon and hung out with friends in the evening. Sunday I went to church in the morning and had a family day after that. We went out to eat, did some shopping and in the early evening all the boys got together and played soccer.  Since its still Sunday, I’m just starting to blog now at ten p.m. and I am so tired.  So this might be a short and strait to the point post! Tomorrow I will be hosting a glamour party en mi casa (my house), so I will have to be up early cleaning and baking. To top it all off I got a new laptop today and I’m still trying to figure it out. Now I’m done rambling, let’s get into today’s trend.

Today’s Trend
Today’s fall trend is fur! No matter what kind of fur it is, faux fur or real fur, it will be in this fall. All over the runways fur was spotted and not in just your average ways. Fur will be taken to the next level this fall by adding bright colors to your traditional fur hues. I spotted colored fur (pink, blue, peach, and orange) all over the runways. Don't think that when I say fur I only mean coats and vest either. This fall you will see fur hats, purses, headbands, gloves and even shoes. I personally am not a huge fan of fur, but a fall trend that I am liking involving fur is fur collared clothing. I have been spotting  many cardigans, sweaters and vest with fur on the collar. I think this is a fabulous way to add fur into your style without having to look like you’re wearing an animal.
Styling
When it comes to styling fur it can become a very tricky thing to do.  I don’t know about you, but every time I try on a fur vest I feel like I instantly gained two sizes!  Something that I like to do when wearing a fur vest is tying a belt around the waist, that way I show off the smallest part of my body. My recommended way to wear a fur vest is to wear a pair of dark skinnies, long sleeve shirt (tight, preferably cotton), add your vest, put a skinny belt around the waist, a pair of fun earrings, some bracelets and/or a watch, and boots or flats for shoes. I also would recommend wearing your hair up when you’re wearing a vest. It gives it a much classier look. For girls who aren’t a huge fan of fur I would recommend wearing fur collared clothing. Below Carla is wearing a BB Dakota Leather vest with a white fur collar (here).  I love this particular vest because it incorporates two trends in one (leather and fur).  I think it’s a great way to step out of the box without having to be super daring. If fur isn’t for you I understand, but with these simple ways you might just be able to add fur into your wardrobe and fall in love with it.

I hope this helps. Also if you guys already wear fur vest comment below your favorite ways to wear it. That way I will also have new ideas! I hope you all have a fabulous week!

XOXO

Add some color/ print with your fur!
